We got a paper bill through the US mail from the PA turnpike authority with a photo of our license plate against a very black car, saying we owe $15 for any date between June 7 and July 7. Huh? We haven't been to PA in years and our car has been in the garage every night. Plus the car is white! It shows Michigan above the license plate but on our plate it shows Auto Park Ford covering up Michigan. It is due July 22. We will be calling the genuine turnpike number on Monday. We got it from the PA police. They are aware of text scams but not paper bills. This stuff stresses and wears me out. I hope it isn't just the beginning of getting a lot of stuff. We won't ignore it because we don't want it to hurt our credit by going to collections.
I guess Amazon was the first. I hope that will be resolved ok too. Ugh. All I could do was let them know that nothing is outstanding and to not re-send orders.
