76 here going into the high 90s as it has been all month. wonder when summer will end. am ready for fall. waited for cooling rain all day yesterday. i get it bed here it comes. cool air coming in the windows. was nice

just got all the critters fed. dog next door there. filled up the bird feeder only do it once a week.gets emptied in nothing flat.

paul got his figs yesterday said bringing me back a jar. told him no thanks really do not care for them. too sweet. i tried making them with less sugar but they are not good. never ate a fresh fig till i moved to the south. i love them fresh off the tree but that is only time. birds love them too. tree is live with birds. i have 2 in my yard think they live forever as mine are old

going to lake house this morning. spending night. do not expect any one. wish a dog would go with me but they back away from gate as they see me loading up lake bag,  they love the water are in their dog pool  all day long in and out.especially miss ninna but she is afraid of car after wreck. went for a while but was never comfortable riding every bump in road her head popped up never resting. before wreck she slept after wreck always on guard
