I'm sorry Heidi. That's not fun when you lose one of your kids. The same thing happened to my mom, just as she was recovering from her years of mourning my dad's loss my oldest sister suddenly and quite unexpectedly passed away at age 49. In her case though she left behind her husband and four kids. Three were young adults in their late teens to mid twenties. Their youngest was twelve. They all are out west. The oldest two are now in their 40s, the younger two in their thirties.

Our family is small. Both parents were only children. We have second cousins out there we don't know. We should be at the point we're working together since we're now the elders of our branch of the family, the only ones on the east coast, and we are all single with health issues. But nope my one sister is an idiot intentionally trying to rip the family apart because she's miserably unhappy.
