The cost of driving up, plus the fact my sister has to work a full day the day before Thanksgiving and leave Sunday morning to be back at work the following Monday makes it a bit of a drawback. She gets home from work around 6:30 and would have to nap for a few hours than pack up her stuff and her cat to drive up in the middle of the night to get here Thanksgiving morning. Also my two sisters are no longer on speaking terms.

The whole stupid situation with the Corolla has also angered my sister from Virginia as well. She is well aware I am the household manager in charge of making sure the necessary stuff for the house gets done, purchases for the house are made, and that I was buying all the food, cooking the dinners, keeping a steady supply of fresh fruit on hand, buying crackers and other snacks, buying the pet food, and my sister who lives here's favorite Yardley lavender bath soap to keep her from swiping my body wash. I'm the one who rakes leaves, shovels snow, etc. But supposedly I don't do anything for her and I can't barrow her unused car anymore that just sits. She can't eat the food I buy anymore. But I am still the only person buying household supplies ranging from toilet paper and paper towels to liquid hand soap, dish detergent, cleaning products and the canned cat food. I'm glad I have Amazon Prime. I'm ordering stuff from them constantly now. Since I can't drive up the highway to Petco to buy the Blue Buffalo dry cat food and getting cat litter is awkward my sister in Virginia is ordering that stuff online and having it shipped to me. The costs for Uber rides to and from medical appointments is insane. My sister from Virginia is helping me out tremendously with this. As a disabled person I can't afford all this. With all my doctor's appointments last month the Uber fees plus driver's tips was in the neighborhood of $300. The costs of having groceries delivered three times last month between the delivery fees, tips for the drivers and the reusable bags fees was $60.

I don't even know what is going to happen at Christmas. I hoping to get my other sister up here for the holiday but yeah, she wants to punch out my sister who lives here.

My sister who lives here can be a nasty piece of work with a huge chip on her shoulder and her issues have worsened again since our mom died. I wish she hadn't moved back into the house earlier this year. It was a lot easier dealing with her when she lived on the other side of town and just came for short visits. If she wasn't here than my other sister would have spent part of her vacation time here last summer. Instead she did mainly a staycation with a week visiting a longtime friend who lives out on Long Island.
