was a cold morning 24 but warming up. out to feed critters glad to get back in. sit down and see i got my sweater on inside out. guess eyes were closed this morning when i was dressing, heater coming on faithfully 

got the fresh pork picnic in oven. will start with rest of the meal in a bit. i   was going to make a stuffed hen till grand said she was bringing her ham. so did not need all that meat.

  the whole family will be here  about 12 or a bit later. will be a mad house then. getting all the gifts in and assorted per person.table all set with table cloths. and dishes silver ware. did this yesterday  did not want to have it all to do today. will sweep though.

christmas eve service was nice yesterday, we no longer have it later in the day. older people did not want to drive in the dark. so now its at 4.
