We had a little rain last night, but certainly not enough to end the drought. We're 8 inches below normal for the season and the reservoirs are much lower than they should be. It's mostly sunny, breezy, and mild. It will hit 70 degrees later. The high fire danger warnings will be back in effect by tomorrow. Maybe we'll have showers on Thursday?

I dropped my sister off at our local NJ Transit train station this morning. She's taking the Amtrak back home and will come back up in another week. She has a workshop meeting tomorrow and has to work in the office Friday and next Monday. She's still submitting applications for teleworking jobs in various government agencies. The public sector hiring process is slower going though since they have to go through a more thorough process vs corporate jobs.

I have PT this afternoon then have to pick up just a couple of things at the supermarket. I already gassed up the car for my doctor's appointments this week. I see the foot and ankle orthopedist tomorrow. I need to pick up some singles at the ATM. I have some coins in my purse but no singles. Just a couple of twenties. The Parkway toll is $2.20 and you only pay one way. I pay driving up there, not coming back home.
