58 this morning. rained all day yesterday and last night. but no rain now . i hung out my wash will take forever to dry with all the water in grass. but getting to 70  this afternoon. so there is hope

daughter come to lunch day. having scalloped potatoes and pork ribs in oven. got to look for veggies in fridge.   made a sweet potato pie yesterday that is dessert.

still have all the cut up ones to do something with. these i cut up when digging leaves under dirt last week. some we missed when digging. think they will turn into pumpkin bread next week end.

going out to get pomegranates. told daughter i would pick they are starting to split. they  cut better when just off the tree . could have pulled all a month ago but then skins would dry out and harder to get into. had 2 last night. have given them to all family. all love them
