We're not due for the potential of rain until Tuesday. I hand watered most of the potted plants a while ago. Will do the last few plus water the butterfly bush and the hydrangea in a bit.

It's slightly less humid today compared to yesterday, but this is a one day reprieve. The humidity will crank up again tomorrow and be high all week. It will also be upper 80s to low 90s all week. The weather people were originally thinking the temps would go down to the low 80s starting Wednesday for a few days, but they backtracked on that. Another heat dome at work. The air quality has been bad. It's a sun and clouds mix day with a lot of haze so it's filtered sunlight.

I took care of the laundry after dinner yesterday. We live five blocks from the park where they shoot off the fireworks so people park around here and walk over. Traffic will be a nightmare starting in a few hours so I'm staying put today. My sister is supposed to drop something off later. She'll either have to come early or after 10 pm to avoid the traffic.

It's just a basic housework today and I need to start moving a few things around in the basement to tidy up down there. It's just become a catch-all for stuff.
