These new specialists I'm seeing are millennials in their mid 30s and I'm not impressed with them. I haven't had good luck with millennial doctors in general. It's like pulling teeth to get this new rheumatologist to pay attention to the extent of the joint damage and to run tests.
The new podiatrist talks down to me and pushed his alternative medicine agenda, a special diet cures arthritis nonsense. He claims his diet is a tweaked version of the Keto diet but it's actually the Paleo diet where you live mainly on meat, fish, eggs, nuts and seeds with only certain types of fruits and veggies on the side. No grains, no dairy, no starchy fruits or vegetables. Paleo diet can cause nasty constipation, elevated bad cholesterol, vitamin and mineral deficiencies and fatigue. Yeah, no thanks. Unfortunately he's the only podiatrist at this medical group.
