First Ray of Hope

Posted by 3Dee User icon on November 4, 2025, 11:46 pm

Democrats must be tired of winning, because they swept all the key races of 2025.

It may not be enough, but it's a glimmer of hope and that a greater repudiation of Trump is around the corner in 2026.

Good enough for now!

2026 is still a year away by then even more may be able to see that they are loosing democracy under the present MAGA governments priorities and are not better off.. time will tell..

I heard recently that 1/3 of NYCs banks and hedge funds have already left for Miami and Houston, now the rest will leave and NYC will no longer be the business capital of the world. NYC will be just another leftist sh**hole. I am ok with that.

Nidal Hasan to Get Firing Squad, will he be the Democrats new Luigi???

The lack of affordability of just about everything is hitting home for many folks. They see the Republicans are hell bent on not acting to provide relief for people who may lose their healthcare. They see that Trump's priorities do not include the average American and his priorities are what the spineless law makers follow until the wanna be King says differently.

I have seen folks on Facebook who believe that negotiations cannot happen until the government reopens. That's a total lie perpetuated by Mike Johnson, one of many they tell to shift the blame.

Ask any Republican lawmaker, or Trump himself, what plans they have to replace the ACA and/or make it more affordable and they have nothing.

So you think this guy who won mayor in New York will not turn it in to a Muslim state? He is going to defund the police & also he will not listen to federal I.C.E agents, also he will make it people will struggle to live cause taxes are too high. So you want socialism? Well, move to New York, I promise you will not survive a year there. The democrats are the enemy not our friends.

Soccer, you need some new material or check current events. Same old rubbish barking nonsense all because of an irrational hate for one man who has done nothing to deserve this type of hellish scrutiny especially in comparison to Democratic actors.

LOL - Blu, you are delusional. Current events? My post contains very current facts which you seem to ignore or pretend they don't exist.

I know you are probably more focused on new marble bathrooms and the big beautiful new ballroom, but this so called President cares nothing about the needs of everyday Americans and it shows daily.

New material? You need to take your own advice.. the old "irrational hatred for one man" and "hellish scrutiny" was wearing thin even before Trump was elected.

Who are you talking to GCAI? I mentioned nothing about the new NYC mayor.

Ha, moderate Democrats sought meetings with Republicans to negotiate - Shumer caught wind, brought them in and chastised them ruthlessly.

Current Events-Nov 6.

What has the Democratic Party become? It’s shameful, downright cruel.

Wrong again, Blu.

Current Event:

https://thehill.com/homenews/senate/5595545-schumer-plan-government-shutdown/

What is cruel is withholding SNAP payments when there are funds available, even after Trump was ordered to do so. What is cruel is not extending the healthcare subsidies when there is no Republican plan to make healthcare more affordable.

Again, the well being of average Americans, especially those struggling with the high cost of everything is the absolute furthest thing from Trump's mind. Lavish Halloween party at Moron-A-Lago, tone deaf.

You don’t know what the Republicans have been working on, you’re still stuck on “concepts” said 3-4 years ago.

Have you ever thought maybe we need to do and pass an actual Congressional budget? Do you know (?) how long it’s been since we have had a budget instead of CR’s?

It’s a shame that Democrats have done this, I hope their constituents sear their ares, then deep fry them.

yeah, well not even Republicans see to know what they've been working on and they've been on vacation for weeks

I'm all ears if they've got something that will actually help people, but it's been 15 years, so, I'm not optimistic

I certainly would not rely on you to bring me up to date on anything. It would be totally nonsense... sort of like MAGA needs a emoji. Earth shattering. I could think of a bunch of them.

I’m hearing this newly elected socialist Muslim has his transitioning harem in place, all female.

And now this: “Remember how I told you a few months ago to stop sending us money?” Mamdani said in the video. “You can start again.”

“This transition requires staff, research, and an infrastructure that can meet this moment, and it will be made possible by the people who built and believe in this movement.

“I hope you will make a donation at transition2025.com. Now let’s get to work.”

You cannot provide any reasonable reason the Republicans are not interested in providing any assistance with healthcare premiums so....

you deflect to a totally unrelated topic, it's so transparent, but it's kind of what Trump teaches MAGA to do

Re: First Ray of Hope

Democrats were allowed no input into this legislation, none, why would they vote FOR it when it will greatly impact their constituents?

The bigger question is how are Republicans going to justify to their constituents their failure to negotiate something so important.

Trump has suddenly realized that "affordability" is important to people, something he never concerns himself with. He said in an interview on Fox that people are talking about the cost of groceries... he then said "groceries" that's an old fashioned word... what does that even mean. He then went on to claim that groceries are cheaper now than last year.. not true.

He also touted that Wal Mart's prepackaged Thanksgiving Day meal was cheaper than last year... he forgot to mention it contains 6 fewer items and many more "store brands" vs name brands. When a reporter asked him about it, he asked "who are you with" NBC" Oh that's the fake news. He's a moron.
