The lack of affordability of just about everything is hitting home for many folks. They see the Republicans are hell bent on not acting to provide relief for people who may lose their healthcare. They see that Trump's priorities do not include the average American and his priorities are what the spineless law makers follow until the wanna be King says differently.

I have seen folks on Facebook who believe that negotiations cannot happen until the government reopens. That's a total lie perpetuated by Mike Johnson, one of many they tell to shift the blame.

Ask any Republican lawmaker, or Trump himself, what plans they have to replace the ACA and/or make it more affordable and they have nothing.
