I think Trump should just leave Chicago alone and let it become a total warzone. I actually agree with the Democrats, just let it burn to the ground. Its the only way people are going to learn. Maybe in 5 or 6 years revisit and see if reintroducing the city into the civilized world is worth the effort. The Democrats like like the civil unrest, and it is a Democrat state, so he should just look the other way. Its a shame, but its for the best.

Trump has zero interest in making Chicago safer. He has zero interest in the well being of the people there.

He's now talking about bringing the TEXAS National Guard into Chicago.

If he truly wants to cut crime, why did he and Republicans cut more than $800 million in public safety and crime prevention grants?

Donald Trump is searching for any justification to deploy the military in a blue city in a blue state to try and intimidate his political rivals.

The National Guard is not trained in law enforcement and should not be pulled from their home state to serve the wishes of "the King".

What Trump is trying to do is illegal, unconstitutional and un-American.

Democrats don't want Chicago crime lowered.

What we know for certain is that the Democrat Party has no interest in making Chicago or any other big city safer. If the Criminals in Chicago were more concerned with shooting straight and less on posing while trying to murder people the crime wave would be even worse. I understand that Fred Flintstone Pritzker says there is no crime happening in Chicago but I doubt the cities residents would go along with that. Maybe he is just daydreaming of making rape and murder legal and thinking ahead.

When Morning Joe of all people say that maybe the Democrats do need to step aside and let Trump deal with the mess they have created, these fools should listen. JB and Mayor Stupid should fly to Minnesota and join A. Walz in making comments about Trump being dead soon. I'm sure A. Walz knows more than just school shooters. And isn't it funny how those Democrat politicians murders vanished from the news once people learned it was one of A. Walz's bros that did all the killing?

That's one of the more crazy statements you've ever made. I don't know who the "we" is that knows for certain, but whoever they are don't know what they are talking about.

So is the Texas National Guard going to be deployed indefinitely? Of course not, but Trump has no interest in decreasing ongoing crime in Chicago.

He is merely setting the stage whereby it's acceptable to deploy his personal "crime fighters" anytime he needs them to benefit his Authoritarian agenda.

The use of the National Guard and Military to invade any city is unlawful.

Trump is all about making a big show with nothing legal to back him up..

Trump does not care about crime, he only cares about keeping the Epstein files out of the the main stream news and trying to make all Blue States and Mayors look like they are soft on crime when the truth is crime rate has decreased in Chicago.

If Trump truly cared about crime he would allow more Grants to States for law enforcement.

The one simple reason these do nothing Democrats in the Democrat War Zones don't want Trump getting in the middle of their messes is that they are afraid he will clean things up, and they cant be having that. I for one am ok with the carnage, but Trump isn't so we will see what happens.

The Democrats will always do what they feel is best for the party and green lighting murder, rape and every other criminal act seems to work for them. And why is he so hot to trot to grandstand Chicago? Wouldn't he want to invade more dangerous cities if he cared about reducing crime?

Why not Jackson, MS or Memphis? Why not St. Louis or New Orleans? Why not Kansas City or Baltimore? Why not Cleveland or Detroit? Why not Birmingham?

They are all cities with higher crime rates per capita than Chicago.
