Come on, Trump, you were going to lower those prices. You blamed the Democrats for food prices getting this way.

It’s interesting to me that Avian Flu only caused the mass slaughter of egg layers by the Dept. Of Agriculture per direction of Joe Biden but not the meat birds. Housed in the same type containment facilities.

The egg layers live much longer than those used for meat so they have a greater chance of becoming infected. Chickens used for meat are only weeks or months old

There is a tiny bit of hope for some to escape the cult culture...yesterdays polls showed 52% think Trump is not doing a good job.

That is after only one month in office. I do not see things getting any better with his love of Putin. More will break out and see reality soon.

As for Russia/Ukraine, I can tell you as one of the few on here who was alive in the Vietnam era. The Russia/Ukraine thing is similar. We are dumping billions of dollars propping up a government. Thank God we aren't sacrificing 52,000 American lives to do so. That war could go on for years. How much more money can we throw at it while we still have issues here?

Trump is trying to negotiate a deal (peace) which will eventually either come or Ukraine will fall. Zelensky is no better than Putin in my book. He's become a millionaire on the backs of his people.

Trump and Vance just put him on notice that he will have to either go along or get along. We no longer have the resources to be the world police but even that bastard Putin knows to never pick on our country.

What do you mean by Zelensky became a millionaire on the "backs of his people"? Most of his wealth comes from his stake in a group of companies that produce comedy shows. Despite Russian propaganda there is no evidence that corruption has led to his wealth.

My guess is he has used some of the Biden money for his personal gain.

Russia is an enemy, one we better keep throttled. If they ever team up with China, we are cooked because allies like Ukraine won't mean a thing.

IF a deal can be brokered that keeps Putin at arms lengthy and gives the people of Ukraine a chance to live in peace and restore their lives, that's a win-win. They can't win a long war any more than S. Vietnam did.

Soccer, 53,000 Americans died trying to protect S. Vietnam from ruin. Didn't work. Not only did we bury friends and relatives here in GC, we saw a bunch of pansy ass punks protesting the war and spitting on vets as they returned.

Now, we have somewhat friendly relations with Vietnam.

This war has to end. If it goes another year, we may be forced to send troops there and I don't want to bury any more Americans who died defending a foreign country that gives us nothing in return.

That was the basic point of the mineral agreement with Zelensky.

Once that demarcation line was etched out, basically a DMZ, US security would be in place and Putin would not crossed that line. Instead, a bunch of idiot Democrats plus one Republican managed to screw it all up somehow.
