As for Russia/Ukraine, I can tell you as one of the few on here who was alive in the Vietnam era. The Russia/Ukraine thing is similar. We are dumping billions of dollars propping up a government. Thank God we aren't sacrificing 52,000 American lives to do so. That war could go on for years. How much more money can we throw at it while we still have issues here?

Trump is trying to negotiate a deal (peace) which will eventually either come or Ukraine will fall. Zelensky is no better than Putin in my book. He's become a millionaire on the backs of his people.

Trump and Vance just put him on notice that he will have to either go along or get along. We no longer have the resources to be the world police but even that bastard Putin knows to never pick on our country.
