He commuted the sentences of over 30 death row inmates.

Anyone know what crimes fall under federal death penalty laws?

I hope none of the school shooters or mass murderers were on that list.

I hope no kidnappers of children were on that list.

More soft on crime by the people who aren't fit to live in society.

Biden doesn't believe in the death penalty. These folks will die in prison, it's not as though they are being released.

There are some that believe living imprisoned is a worse fate than death. I guess it depends on your personal beliefs of life after death... if,you don't believe "when you're dead, you're dead."

Maybe you go to Hell - what happens there? Maybe you are forgiven and your soul is reincarnated into a new body. Nobody knows for sure, but most people have a personal belief either based in religion or what they've been taught.

If the goal is to punish the person for the crime they have committed is death worse than life in prison with no possibility of parole?

Biden does not believe in the federal death penalty. They will all spend the rest of their lives in prisons.
True that is a matter of personal belief in how one feels about capital punishment.

If he does, I stand corrected, but I thought in the report I saw he stated he did not. I think he did not pardon the Boston Marathon bombers.

Whatever the case, like it or not, he has the power to do it.

Death by injection, hanging, firing squad or electrocution is the only way to insure they never commit a crime again.

Living off the taxpayer dollars is BS. I will give in on this point, if the family of a victim wants this trash to be judged by God, instead of a jury and judge, I would go along with their wishes.

If it's my family? I want them put down like a rabid animal and would be most happy to help them cross that bridge.

A New England man who was on death row after he “senselessly killed” and was indicted for sending bomb threats to the home of former President George H. W. Bush is on President Biden’s federal death row commutation list.

Hall (federal prisoner #03766-036) was initially sentenced to 16 years in federal prison after a Maine grand jury indicted him for phoning in bomb threats to Bush’s Kennebunkport home, the Portland International Jetport and an office building in Portland — as well as sending threatening letters to the U.S. Attorney in Maine.

Then, Hall was given the death penalty for murdering another inmate. In 2010, Hall and fellow inmate Wesley Coonce Jr. at the U.S. Medical Center for Federal Prisoners in Missouri killed another inmate, Victor Castro-Rodriguez, 51.

Both Hall and Coonce were sentenced to death after they were found guilty of one count of murder in the first degree. Coonce was also found guilty of one count of murder by an inmate serving a life sentence.

Coonce is also on Biden’s federal death row commutation list. Hall and Coonce now face life sentences without the possibility of parole.

It's crazy to give one person the right to overturn sentences, and even crazier to give that person the right to pardon someone for anything that they might have done. We may as well give that person the right to convict a person and determine the penalty. Good thing for Trump we don't. We have a President and not a king. As usual, just my opinion.

All Presidents have the right to pardon anyone charged with Federal crimes. You can google it and get a list of anyone who other presidents have pardoned. Ford pardoned Nixon. Trump pardoned his son in laws father. The list is very long..

This demented fool has been AWOL since the Democrats tossed him in the dumpster, but now he wants to get all kinds of involved.

His supposed Catholic faith has nothing whatsoever to do with these commutations. It was as a favor to a bunch of BLM- Antifa-type whiners. If he'd commuted all of them he might be able to offer that claim of faith, but even then it's pretty weak when you're killing millions of babies with glee.
