In an effort to "encourage" fellow Republicans to support Matt Gaetz and not push for the release of the Ethics report, Marjorie Taylor Greene posted the following:

“For my Republican colleagues in the House and Senate, If we are going to release ethics reports and rip apart our own that Trump has appointed, then put it ALL out there for the American people to see,” Taylor Greene wrote on X in a post which had received 1.3m views by Tuesday 1pm ET.

“Yes.. all the ethics reports and claims including the one I filed, all your sexual harassment and assault claims that were secretly settled paying off victims with tax payer money, the entire Jeffrey Epstein files, tapes, recordings, witness interviews but not just those, there’s more, Epstein wasn’t/isn’t the only asset. If we’re going to dance, let’s all dance in the sunlight,” she wrote.

She concluded with what appeared to be a veiled threat: “I’ll make sure we do.”

When has the U.S. House ever released the findings of an ethics report on a private citizen? I think I asked this already, and nobody for some strange reason responded. I suppose when no charges were filed on Gaetz the next best thing was to see if some report could make him appear to be guilty of something. Isn't it funny how this all of a sudden became a thing when Trump wanted him to be AG?

I'm all for letting it all hang out as MTG seems to be saying, EVERYTHING, open the floodgates, all of them. Let's see who is willing to play that game and who wants to just pick and choose.

That would open an interesting can of worms. Let's hear about the ones who were paid to keep quiet and the ones who were paid to come forward with accusations.

Gaetz wasn't a private citizen when the allegations occurred. He conveniently resigned the day before the findings were released knowing how damaging they would be. A cabinet nominee must be vetted and I guess he and Trump felt all their fellow Republicans would just fall in line and confirm him without pressing for the results of the investigation.

Come on, this guy was accused of sex trafficking a minor and illicit drug use and is being nominated for Attorney General -The top law enforcement officer of the nation, an individual who serves as the U.S. government's top legal adviser and the head of the Department of Justice.

What's just as disturbing is that Trump nominated him in the first place. I guess a little sex trafficking is acceptable behavior for Trump.

I expect Gaetz's next move will be a spot on Fox News... sounds like a good fit for him.

No charges were filed, and Trump was and is well aware that Republicans don't vote as a block like Democrats do, at least not to the same degree. Since GAETZ is very much a rabble-rouser and boisterous as hell, if the Democrats could have nailed his ass they would have. They couldn't and didn't.

It's funny how no charges were filed and yet he is assumed to be guilty. Actually, I am ok with playing that way just as long as the same criteria are used for Democrats also. See, this is where you will run into a bit of a roadblock.

Oh, I get it just fine. I sat through Hussein OBAMA and also this current Mutant. Hussein was capable just way too far left for me. Biden was simply a disaster in every way possible. I mostly talked about the media and how Democrats were never held accountable for anything during Obama's reign and about Biden's ineptness and arrogance.

I get being on the losing side.
