The sheriff in California whose deputies stopped another nut with two loaded weapons from entering a Trump rally yesterday.

To quote him, “ if you’re asking me, I think my deputies stopped another assassination attempt.”

Do these whackos not understand if they take Trump out, they practically insure a GOP win? Thousands will vote as a matter of revenge or because they already think Vance would be a better President. Trump would still be on the ballots and he could actuall be elected posthumously.

Good job by a common sense sheriff in a liberal state.

Who knows how many attempts have been made on him, it's not as though 98% of the media even reported this one. Whatever it takes, they can not allow him to be sworn in, and they will make sure that doesn't happen, one way or another. Venezuela is the model.

Is Trump being hunted, 100% yes, but in this particular case, I don't think so. It seems like an almost everyday occurrence anymore, with the LAWFARE not going quite as planned, they will no doubt try again. They can not allow him to return to the Whitehouse, whatever it takes. He was a Democrat in the past now he says he is a Trump supporter and a third-party guy. He also says he has never shot any of his guns, so who knows? I think being a past media guy he knows how to be rather manipulative, and cagey. They already turned him loose, so like I said, I wouldn't even count this guy as a legit assassin or even a wannabee, but we will never know. Some Sheriff wants to claim he did this or did that, but more likely he just lucked into the stop because the guy was where he wasn't supposed to be.

Two have already tried to take Trump in a legit manner and the SS couldn't have possibly been more inept, thus "the they." For that first guy, they did everything but hold the ladder for him when he climbed on the roof. After being AWOL for quite a time, the SS finally killed the dude after he got 8 shots off. How convenient. Of course, when Trump went back to Butler he had all kinds of security, but the world was watching so no half ass effort was going to happen on that one day at least.

Venezuela is the model. Maduro is about as legit as Saddam Hussein was in his elections, and Kamala and Joe raced down to Venezuela to congratulate him. For now, the Democrats are satisfied with the networks fixing Kamala's messes and triple-teaming the Republican candidates in debates. Well that and the LAWFARE. If he somehow manages to win the election, a miracle in itself, he still has to make it to inauguration day. But as I was saying, Venezuela is the model. A whole lot of Democrats have to be thinking what in the hell has to happen to be rid of this guy?

Soccer, again, I'm older than most on here but many still believe JFK and his brother were both victims of an inner government plot to kill them.

Anyone who believes a simpleton like Oswald pulled off the most blatant murder in U.S. history or that Sirhan Sirhan made got so close to RFK is either blind or stupid.

In both of those cases, the secret service failed to protect a potential target of high interest.

This has a similar smell to it.

If someone can answer the questions asked earlier, I'll listen.

1.) Supposedly this guy never shot a weapon yet had two loaded weapons with him and back up ammo.
2.) He had an expired license plate and numerous fake ID's on him at the time. Recipe for escape.
3.) He claims to be a Trump fan. We have a guy running for mayor that claims to be a woman.

Clarify any of those but the sheriff clearly stated that he felt his department stopped an assassination attempt.

One of the Trumpers is going to get fed up with this nonsense and the security around Harris and Walz better be ready for it.

So a unbalanced guy comes within the outside perimeter of a Trump rally. Gets stopped and arrested without incident. The authorities released him on bond. The guy is a Trump supporter who has attended the RNC and had his picture taken with several GOP leaders. Has two facebook accounts where he post MAGA agenda. Has an x account where he also post right wing agenda.

Now for the post...from this incident we have a conspiracy to assassinate Trump. A post that tells us "they" have a contract on him. another poster that claims Trump does not get proper security.

So I will get in on the opinions (without real proof). It was a lone man exercising his "right to carry" (as most MAGA do) He is no doubt a troubled person and wants to pretend he is a news reporter. That makes him delusional not necessarily an assassin.
But I do like to read all the spin and plots that some on here dream up. Makes me laugh.

The dude does have a media background, so for that reason alone I already see him as sketchy AF. I still think maybe they got this one right and that he was not on an assassinate Trump mission, but the fact that they turned him loose makes me wonder. Let's face it, with the way the FBI and SS have handled Trump's security, hell most anyone would think they could take a crack at taking him down. I fully expect that several more will take a turn, because, well because VENEZUELA.

We know Walz won't be one of the future assassins since he doesn't even know how to load his own gun.

I wonder at what point will they decide to start threatening Trump's family members because I know it will be on the drawing board at some point. Nothing is off the table with the Democrat Party and especially so with Trump.

They wanted Joe to be the only one on the ballot, that must be what they meant about saving Democracy. Then they wanted Trump jailed, and now they as in Mayorkas and the FBI seem to be doing whatever they can to see that he is ended. The Democrat Party can't believe that he is still alive, and they have to be wondering how many lives he has left. He just won't go the hell away.

When it comes to underhanded sneaky low-down actions, I put nothing past the Democrat Party. Trump's luck may run out at some point, I hope not, but it certainly is possible.

If this had been a nut at a Harris rally, the left would say the same thing. I'll also point out again that he may claim to be a Trump supporter. I may claim to be Jesus, doesn't make it so.

Explain as well why he had so many fake ID's.

I don't usually buy conspiracies. I think some of the ones offered are silly. However, the fact is this guy was at a rally, had guns and was stopped by authorities in the most liberal state in the union. Way too much coincidence.

Oh, and again, he was released on bond because of STATE charges. In California, bond is as easy as baking a pie. Remember, this is the state that allowed open stealing from retailers, protection for illegals, etc.

Please, open your mind to the idea this could have been something more than you think. Don't allow your hate for Trump to blind you to the fact these kinds of things go on in our higher levels of government.

I do not have any inside information on this guy. So I can not answer. "Why he had the guns if he never shot one." not do I know his motive for being there.
The sheriff has a right to voice his "opinion.". I do no know if he is correct. My point is neither do you. We can try to figure this guy out from whatever limited information we have on him. It will take a much longer time to investigate him further and maybe have more answers. Maybe not. Some people are very strange and some of us will never understand them and their way of thinking.

No doubt Trump has been targeted by at least a couple of demented folks, maybe 3.

What I think is ridiculous is that anyone believes this is something Democrats want to happen or that it's a conspiracy. No secret how I feel about Trump, but I don't want him dead. The most I might wish is he would have a slight allergic reaction to his orange makeup that would cause him to lose his voice for a couple of days... just kidding, maybe.

I want him to lose a free and fair election so he has no power period. If other folks have served prison time for crimes similar to what he's been convicted of... then "lock him up" Taking him out won't solve anything and even if it were a single person, acting alone, the narrative would cause chaos, violence and would have devastating consequences for the U.S.

I agree. I do not want him or any candidate killed. The idea that Democrats what him dead does not even make sense.
I think most of us who support Harris want to see Trump beat (once again) in a free and fair election.
We all know Trump is a convicted felon who will face many more trials in the future, unless he is reelected and can kick them down the road in hopes that he will never be held accountable.
Trump is not above the law, as he claims, I do not care if he goes to prison or gets fined. just held accountable as any other American would be.

Trump was charged with crimes no other human would have been charged with. When a prosecutor runs on getting Trump, that says about all most fair-minded people need to hear. LAWFARE. In your BS rant, you ask why Democrats think Trump will use the justice system to go after them. Do ever listen to what Trump says? Today he is calling Democrats the "enemy within" and said he will use the National Guard and Military to go after them. Before you claim he was talking about Immigrants, fact is he called Adam Schiff out by name.
Unless you consider Trump a liar, you will have to take him at his word.
