What I can't take is your word on what Trump said. Trump does fight back, and Democrats are used to mealy-mouthed Republicans, or worse yet, both sides of Republicans. They prefer the GHWB types, kindly laid-back Republicans who took it in the fanny in order to get along with Democrats and the media. Trump tells them to kiss his oversized a** and they can't stand that.
