70% increase in TB cases, up over 500% in last 5 years.

HIV cases up 871% in 5 years.

70% of scheduled C-sections are Haitian women due to the fact they can not deliver naturally because they are HIV positive.

PS: Haitians were automatically qualified for Medicare services.

What a freaking disaster!

Public Safety: it appears long time legal residents have none.

Charges against Haitians who break the law are dismissed immediately because of zero translators.

Harris/Biden did this dump knowing full well these folks had no clue of our language, culture, or laws. And they didn’t care. Just do the dump and move on.

I can't dispute them, but knowing what your sources typically are, or aren't, I am skeptical.

Just for the heck of it, I thought I'd do a fact check. I heard that during the 1904 St. Louis World'f Fair, one of the tribes were eating the neighborhood dogs. True they were eating dogs, but they weren't stealing them. They were made to eat them to shock fair goers to their customs.

Supposedly, an acquaintance of Harris (not verified yet) purchased a housing area in Springfield to tenant out to the Haitian migrants. Numerous families being packed into one house and they are renting cots to sleep on by the night. If they don’t work, they’re on the street.

Trump and Vance continue to lie and to mislead the American people about the situation in Springfield, OH. What started as an internet rumor has become a major talking point for Dumb and Dumber to vilify the Haitian immigrants in Springfield. Here are some facts. Prove me wrong if you are able:

-the Haitian immigrants are in Springfield legally and came to Springfield for job opportunities and because of the low cost of living; there was not any government program that placed them there

-the story that Haitians were abducting and eating dogs and cats is completely false. Still Vance and Trump stated it publicly as fact and Vance has said he's not going to stop talking about even after being asked by state and city officials; several people have come forward and apologized for contributing to Facebook rumors that spread like wildfire; Vance's team was told by Ohio officials that the rumors were false before the debate

-Vance has begun to pivot away from that false story and recently stated there was an 81% increase in murders, his quote “Murders are up by 81% because of what Kamala Harris has allowed to happen to this small community." That is alarming, but totally misleading---“During the time that I’ve been with the prosecutor’s office, which is 21 years now, we have not had any murders involving the Haitian community – as either the victims or as the perpetrators of those murders,” Daniel Driscoll, the Republican top prosecutor in Clark County, in which Springfield is the largest city, said in a Friday interview. Vance used real data, but didn't explain that Springfield had 5 murders in 2021 and 9 murders in 2023. Small numbers mean big percentage changes, so 80% is technically correct... but it's not alarming, plus no Haitians were involved

The fact that many, if not all, of MAGA cult members believe every lie these 2 spin is what is alarming.

No doubt, Springfield has major problems related to a large increase of population in a fairly short period of time. The same would be true of any city that had a large number of job opportunities and they were not prepared for such growth.

So, you’re basically saying that temporary non-citizens who receive federal assistance for housing, food, and medical care, plus being transported in to their destination choice to fill job openings.

As far as your other comments.. I'll repeat myself.. the Haitians are here legally, they are free to go anywhere in the U.S. and a large number of them chose to go to Springfield for the jobs. Springfield was thrilled, yet not prepared for a large influx of people. Obviously those jobs were not being filled by locals. The Haitians were not given any special preference for those jobs.

I've not heard of any food shortages in Springfield and the citizens are not being restricted from applying for any jobs.

I don't know how people can support these 2 clowns when they have no credibility.

As I have tried to inform you, the Haitians struggle with rules of of the road in our Country so much so they are causing so many accidents that they had to dispatch State Troopers, plus allocation of “$2.5 million over two years to provide more primary healthcare through the county health department and private healthcare institutions.”

Republican Governor Mike Devine, "These dramatic surges impact every citizen of the community, every citizen," he said, noting additional influxes are occurring in Findlay and Lima, Ohio. "Moms who have to wait hours in a waiting room with a sick child, everyone who drives on the streets, and it affects children who go to school in more crowded classrooms."

This is not right for American residents of towns across the USA to be put through when the Nation is struggling to keep our heads above water presently. They are taking our own citizens

Five murders in 2021, nine in 2023, none involving Haitians.

There was a bipartisan bill to make some needed changes. Both parties had agreed to it. Trump called the Republicans in congress and told them to vote against it because he need to use immigration in his campaign.

And it sounds like they finally came up with something before election so it wouldn't be a campaign issue. They're all politicians who only care about being elected.

There has not been an immigration bill pass yet.
There has been a budget bill pass, (Which Trump also tried to stop. (Again to benefit his campaign). GOP passed it anyway in order to not shut down the government as Trump wanted.

It didn't pass, but my point is that they still finally came up with a plan at election time to keep it from being a campaign issue. Haven't they been saying that there was no problem at the border? Politics is a dirty game and neither side can be trusted. IMO.

Bob, just to clarify, the bill was introduced sometime around April 2024 and it was written by a very conservative Republican in cooperation with both other Republicans and Democrats, so it was a bipartisan bill.

It appeared to have a good chance of passing, but Donald Trump, who has a lot of control over Republicans even though he is not in office,
advised Republicans to kill the bill,which they
did. This is all verifiable.

This was the strongest immigration bill written in years, but Trump wanted it killed so he could do exactly what he is doing now. Blaming the Dems for all the problems at the border. Had the bill passed it would have at least been a good start to solving the issues at the border.

The Republicans will say the bill was not good enough, but had Trump not pressured them to kill it, it likely would have passed.

The Republicans killed their own bill, because Trump preferred to wait on use immigration as an issue in his campaign.

I agree with you Bob, it's unfortunate that it's difficult to trust any politician. Despite that, we are still lucky in this country to have our vote to decide who leads us.

I agree Bob. Politics is a dirty game on both sides. That is why it is important to do research for truth and facts. They will all lie and twist facts to suit their own agenda. Americans need to figure out who they trust the most and who is closer to the truth.
Who they think will be the best leader going forward. For me it is not so much about party but the person I would trust the most.

I hope that makes it clear where I stand.
