It's that time of year, the time when we hear the crack of the bat, the roar of the crown, and drink 8 Dollar beer. We get to turn our radios on and listen for how long it takes for John Rooney to bitch about a ball strike call, and we get to hear the guys on 101 FM talk about the team as though they were the 27 Yankees. We get to wonder if our cars will have been broken into after departing the stadium since St. Louis doesn't have a prosecutor or a half-decent Mayor for that matter.
The division is a joke so this team can bash its way into the playoffs more than likely because they will hit. Beating the Braves or Mets will be a different challenge that I don't see them or maybe anyone else being able to deal with.
Jordan Walker will probably be a star, maybe even a superstar, or he may be the next Rick Ankiel or Cody Rasmus, time will tell.
