Opie, his parents did try to get him help and had him in a mental hospital at some point. They did report that he had the gun. They would not allow him or the gun in their home. There is not law to stop him before he made his choice. I agree that it is best that he no longer is alive. It is just too sad that innocent people lost their life before he could legally be stopped.....
