    I'll never understand why people wonder why the city is over ran with the homeless or people who live hand to mouth relying on hand outs and charities, when we encourage it.
    We have more food give aways and pantries and services that do nothing but attract these undesirables,,,,,but then we complain about them being here. Why wouldn't they be?

    Now we have these halfway houses infiltrating unsuspecting neighborhoods and people are clueless to what kind of shady characters are just over the fence line. Clueless until these ex-cons begin to break into cars,,,and stealing everything thats not nailed down.

    Don't get me wrong the new mayor is doing a great job, but until he stops with the charity and handouts and moves these places out of the heart of the city, we will never see the change needed to stop the draw of these people into the city.
    He needs to force these places out of the city limits to the edge of the city and keep everything that attracts them away from the downtown area and neighborhoods.

    Just my 2 cents,,,,someone has to make the unpopular decisions for the future of the city.
