No vaccine is 100% effective.
They haven’t been and they won’t be.
Vaccines are administered to help prevent becoming infected by a particular disease.
If you do become infected by that disease, the idea is that your symptoms will be far less severe than someone that is not vaccinated (head cold versus ventilator).
Then again, we’re all adults - go bananas.
