When a political party controls the media they can pretty much do whatever they want. The actual truth is not important at all, it is what you can portray as the truth that matters. They can be hypocrites and with a big part of the electorate get away with it.
The only scenario that China Joe receives attacks from the media will be if he balks when it has been decided that it is time for him to step aside for Kamala.
