After checking in to read a post or two, I thought maybe this one could stay at the top for at least a moment and not that other unfortunate topic.
Some may celebrate Easter and some may not. There have been years where I have been really into it and others where I wanted to hide from it, because it was too optimistic and i wasn't in a place to celebrate.
If you're not a believer in the Religious celebration of Easter -- Winter does give way to Spring and that in and of itself brings some degree of joy to anyone and everyone. I hope you're taking in the beauty of the springtime and the sunshine as well.
For those who do believe in it --- Death is not the end, life wins, love wins.... and while that message of resurrection is sometimes TOO optimistic -- one thing I take away from it as a believer and one thing I think a non believer can take away from it ----
There is always something to look forward to!
If I can't look forward to anything else, and even if I knew I'd die in four hours...
I still have something to look forward to....because death is not the end.
Sometimes the knowledge of having something to look forward to made the difference.
At other time, it's how I get through grinds, that there's something to look forward to.
When there are no more tomorrows to look forward to, that's when I know the bottom is near. I haven't been there fortunately, but could have gotten closer to it if I hadn't known there was some kind of better tomorrow I was working toward.
Either way... whether this messasge finds you in a good place or a dark place....or just an everyday place...
