Whether people like it or not, pensions are far and away problem #1 in Illinois. Until there is major reform on this issue politicians can complain about the 'crumb' issues like overflowing dumpsters behind shopping centers, but the big issues will remain. I see no hope for GC or Illinois anytime soon.
