Well not knowing a cop is kind of like the grade school principal not knowing you by name. Means you probably haven't been in trouble.
It appears Parkinson is our only real choice for Mayor. He knows city government and structure and can communicate on an intelligent level.
From what I've read of the other two, one has very poor spelling, grammar and communication technique and the other is simply delusional to think he could be a Mayor. In fact he seems to have disappeared from the pages Mrs. O. follows on her facebook. I think he knows he's in over his head.
Of course if you are a lifelong resident in GC, you obviously don't vote for the people who are running for their trustee positions so I doubt they care what any of us think.
As for the township, I can't believe we're still even talking about those relics in this day and age. Nothing more than a nest of nepotism that provides absolutely nothing that couldn't be handled by another level of government.
Look at what's going on in Nameoki Township this year. In a very carefully orchestrated move, one family has spent the past two years trying to take over that entire operation. We should vote townships out of existence.
