That used to be the norm. Back in the 60's through the 90's the union leadership dictated who to vote for and the members followed. After Clinton sold the unions out with NAFTA, individuals started thinking for themselves. They realized the fat cats were being taken care of and as jobs left, unions were broken down. That's a sad situation because at one time, unions laid the groundwork that built this country. They created fair wages, better conditions and those actions improved the standard of living in this country. I am 100 % for the working union members be they blue or white collar. What I can't stand is some of their leadership that has sold them out and still shoves a ballot down their throats. Once inside that voting booth, no one knows how anyone votes but I'll bet you GC shows increases in the GOP vote this time.
