They are trying to make it about the personal life of people who are not office holders... That's where it gets petty.
Not unlike what the left has done to, oh let's say, Melania and Baron Trump for instance? Can't attack one without opening the door. Do I give a rat's ass if the first Blimp of Illinois goes to Florida? Nope. Would I like to see her lard butt husband go with her and then read about a school of sharks finding dinner for a month? Yep.
Let's try to be fair. If you attack Trumps' family, expect the same in return.
