I'll go you one better than that Wally. Granite City has been a non-player in state politics since Nellie and Mac Warfield died and since the unions in GC lost power.
As for the situation we're in, I applaud Petrillo for voting yes to open the county and I'm more than disappointed that our mayor has decided to roll over to the wishes of Fat Boy. We should move forward and sue the state. Remember when Trump threatened to hold funding to those states who wanted to be sanctuaries for illegals? Hmm, has a similar ring now when it comes to our governor.
