if everyone had a million inflation would gobble it up just as I assume this current bailout will do. The Federal Government has always relied upon "inflating its troubles away" time after time historically. I can see you grasp the concept of inflating the currency right off and am happy that you do.
The history of "helicopter money" was to the best of my knowledge was first brought up by Milton Friedman back in the day and more recently by Ben Bernanke as a way of preventing deflation. That is, what I believe, what is happening today with the stimulus. It is designed to fight deflation by causing inflation. Let's hope it works because a trip down the road of deflation would be brutal to say the least.
