Your fright at calling for the authorities or inability to use a weapon has nothing to do with politics.
It’s reality (you did nothing) versus fantasy (doing anything).
Your inaction put your neighborhood in peril because you cried wolf the night before and were too scared to call the authorities.
You can have all the guns you want - it won’t matter.
