You don't have to be a lawyer to know how to read the law or relevant case law. Ignorance of the law is no excuse when you break it, so why do people always resort to calling someone an internet lawyer? The laws are available to read on the internet. If you had to be a lawyer to know or understand the law, then not being a lawyer would be an absolute defense to breaking the law.
