I agree with you River, but this whole pension party began before Mayor Ed. Sure, he hasnt lifted a finger to make things any better, but i dont see what he really can do as the mayor of GC. Maybe he could tinker around the edges like with the flooding issue, but he simply doesnt have the clout to make an impact. Some people would resent him even trying, so he will just morph into the rope a dope and play out the string until he steps down. Its a pretty good plan actually. The pension fiasco should have never been allowed to take off to begin with, but good luck trying to reel it in. Keep in mind the people making a killing are never going to support any kind of fix and how can you even blame them? The Democrats will run the states economy straight to hell and then hope for a federal bailout. Jim Edgar was right in the middle of that whole cluster too.
