OM, notice I made my original post at 930. What I predicted would happen, has happened to the letter. This is just more of the same. Grandstanding by both parties.
The part I find most amusing is that each rep, especially on the democrat side reads a speech, then ask questions but for the most part, don't even wait for the witness to answer before they read another prepared question.
There's really no purpose to most of it. They know the answers to their questions before they ask them, (law school 101) but it's not really about the question. It's about the action.
