"Should any political party attempt to abolish social security, unemployment insurance, and eliminate labor laws and farm programs, you would not hear of that party again in our political history." Dwight Eisenhower
"I wish Godspeed to the man who was my former opponent and will be my president. And I call on all Americans, as I have often in this campaign, to not despair of our present difficulties, but to believe, always, in the promise and greatness of America, because nothing is inevitable here."" John McCain
"To announce that there must be no criticism of the president... is morally treasonable to the American public. " Teddy Roosevelt
"Democracy is worth dying for, because it's the most deeply honorable form of government ever devised by man." Ronald Reagan
"I'm conservative, but I'm not a nut about it." George H.W. Bush
"America is the land of the second chance - and when the gates of the prison open, the path ahead should lead to a better life." George Dubya Bush
"I've always said, 'If you need Viagra, you're probably with the wrong girl.' Donald J. Trump
Well, I can't say I agree with the last quote, and I don't believe it's a conservative viewpoint... but it just goes to show you what has happened to the Republican Party, and how the 'conservative' viewpoint has been tarnished.... and why they can't stand up to him, and get a real nominee to carry their standard into 2020 is a true travesty.
But I'll share my favorite Conservative viewpoint of all, that is actually a fake quote:
""The problem with quotes on the Internet is that it is hard to verify their authenticity." Abraham Lincoln
