I used to be a Democrat, and yes it was a long time ago. I see someone that is open minded as being a little bit more than just having good manners. I see an open minded person as one that at least on occasion will say, damn, you know what, you are right. Not right on the score of a football game but of something significant. Nobody in here will live long enough to hear something like that from OM, and no you wont hear it from me either. The one little difference is i dont pose as being Open Minded. Lets be honest, hardly anyone in here is really Open Minded and naming yourself as such doesnt make it true. I dont really see it as necessarily a negative thing, most people are pretty dug in with what they believe and arent likely to move from those thoughts very easily. The people that are probably the most open minded are those that dont follow or care much about anything but the things that amuse them. For instance, for those that dont either love or hate Trump, you may have some open mindedness with those folks. That is also the very same people the MSM is targeting in order to sway them to believe any and all of the Democrat talking points.
