Democrat Rep. Lacy Clay Has Funneled Over $1 Million Dollars to His Sisters Law Firm (That Has No Address or Website) It turns out the law firm that is run by his sister has now banked more than $1 million from the lawmaker’s campaign since 2002.
William Lacy Clay Jr. is a Democrat rep out of Missouri…and he’s in some hot water.
It turns out the law firm that is run by his sister has now banked more than $1 million from the lawmaker’s campaign since 2002.
The payments that are sent to the firm are among the largest payouts from the campaign according to filing documents.
In some very clever “fraud cover up” moves, the campaign cash was sent to an address in Maryland and supposedly went towards “community organizing” in Clay’s district.
However, there’s one big problem…
His district is 800 miles away.
To make matters even worse, the “law firm” doesn’t have an actual business address – it’s a “residential home.” Gee ya don’t say? Also, it has no website. Sounds very legit doesn’t it?
This Democrat should be in prison, but we all know that usually goes.
