Im going to give you the 3.85 because the site i looked at they had vs righties verses lefties. Hes still a number 4 pitcher, and the Cardinals are more than capable of mashing him, Scherzer and Strassburg ok, Sanchez, who throws 88 on a good day and who is a 500 pitcher is just a guy. In todays game 3.85 is ok, its even better in the A.L. but this guy dies not fall into the category of good pitching beats good hitting. If you want to say average 500 pitchers beat struggling hitters i would be forced to agree with you.
