Why would I even know or care about him or his station, except for the fact when he and the show before him are not on the air, they are the only Country music station in St. Louis. I know what some must be thinking and they are wrong, there is no Country Music on the FM dial in St. Louis.
Because no one will advertise on that station, the music is nearly uninterrupted.
However, it does leave a dilemma that the operation is so reprehensible.
On the other hand, of the two advertisers that they have, one is a $3,000 a night hotel in Grafton, IL... so I at least know that I"m not going to be enabling that station with my money.
It's really wierd.... I can't stomach the show or the other show on that station....
There is one and only one thing I agree with the host about....
"If you don't like it, turn off the damn radio."
I make sure to do just that when the music stops.
I just wish they would have zero commercials, because a few of them are still reprehensible....but free country music and I don't have to pay for SIRIUS XM.
IF certain people want to keep dumping money into that station...let them do it, so I can get free Country music with no return on their investment.
