Thats right, im not a fan but i made a bet on this team to win the world series because the odds were so high. Right now when the Cubs and Brewers are playing minus their best players you would think the Cardinals would be doing better than they are. The NL Central is not very good this season, the Cardinals by far have the worst record of the first place team in any other division. All you have to do is get in the playoffs and anything can happen at that point. The Dodgers appear to be by far the best team in the N.L. but that doesnt mean they cant be beat in a 5 or 7 game series. You cant be pi##ing away games when you are in a tight race, and the team that comes out of the NL Central will at least be battle tested. If the Nationals win this series i think the team will crumble and not win the division, if they can win it, i believe they will hold on, but probably just barely. Talent alone says the Dodgers will pay the Astros in the WS, but this Yankee team is hard to over look. They broke the record weeks ago as far having the most man games missed by starters in a single season. They are getting their ace back, but he may not be anywhere near 100% for post season play. The Yankees can simply bludgeon teams and thats pretty much what they have done all season. The playoffs are different, butt hey may continue doing it anyway. Ill stick with Houston for now, but i dont feel great about it.
