A sad situation but Archived Message

in Illinois a landlord just can not just go over and evict someone. It is a lengthy process that generally takes longer than 6 months (her life expectancy) and can not occur until a Judge orders her to move so, in view of this, I think the headline is rather misleading and over dramatizing. She simply will not be thrown out into the street at the whim of the landlord.

There must be much more to the story because with her not working she should qualify for Medicaid and the rent should be subsidized by Section 8. To reach $4,000 consider:

"(2) For the public housing program and the section 8 moderate rehabilitation, and certificate or voucher programs, the PHA may establish a minimum rent of up to $50. (3) For other section 8 programs, the minimum rent is $25. (v) Other circumstances determined by the responsible entity or HUD.

We should all say a prayer for Ms. Saul for a possible recovery and realize that the news is not giving us the whole story.
