I still can't get over how a small village puts on such a super music show for two days in a row. Me and the Mrs. actually went on Friday night. She likes the band Ambrosia and I owed her a date night for all of the golf I play.
I have to say that, even being an old fart, I enjoyed the crowd, the music and the food. The food truck and the band parents put on a great spread and of course there was plenty of Bud Light.
The stage was huge. I never expected to see such a set up.
The crowd was about as perfect as they could be. No fights, no cussing or rude people. Just a bunch of folks enjoying a nice evening.
Congratulations to he Mayor and his crew of volunteers for putting on such an event. You have to be very proud.
