I have to admit the Cardinals brass sure gets into the opening day theatrics. Im not a fan, except for the Cardinal players on my fantasy teams, but i know some fans who would rather they spent some of that money bringing in better players. Goldy is a killer and a great add, Miller the BP pitcher may well have his better days pitching behind him. Carlos Martinez, hell, who knows with him anymore. You can always second guess and i thought Ozuna would be a good addition, but the Cardinals sat and watched the Brewers sign last seasons MVP to a long term deal. Ozuna will make close to 3 million dollars more than Ozuna this season. OUCH.. To this point Ozuna has been so so at best, Yelich a monster. The Cubs have lost 4 games because the BP has been a disaster, they could really use Kimbrel. The Brewers BP has serious injuries woes, but they have Josh Hader, a certified Bad A**, so they think they are covered. I think they are fools if they overuse him and blow his arm up. Kimbrel would put the Brewers over the top. The Cardinals BP has been both good and bad to this point, but after the Holland fiasco last season i think the front office is in safe mode for now concerning BP help.
