I am supporting Eavenson and Koberna for their respective Aldermanic elections. For Park Board, Jenna DeYong has my support, as I don't know Sarah Corzine and think Don Harris is out to be elected to help himself.

For School Board, I'm behind Denny Patterson, Zack Nunn, and Luis Ybarra II. I think it is time for us to have young people who have been through our district (recently) have their voices heard and their opinions valued through vote, rather than have their backs patted and their thoughts ignored.

Adam Followell-Young has my support for the Six-Mile Regional library, as does Nick Raftopolous for SWIC Trustee.

I'm not supporting any incumbents this year because in my opinion they've all had their chance, and then they've had more chances, and they've sent our city in the wrong direction. The same could be said for our city elections two years ago, none of the non-school board incumbents should have been re-elected, and that includes the Aldermen, City Clerk, Treasurer, and Mayor.

It is time to change things in our city, we're headed down the wrong path, a dangerous path that will lead to a poorer future for out city. If tomorrow's election sees an ideal outcome of new (young) officials, we can put ourselves back on the right path. Then it's on to 2021 to replace the rest of city leadership.

Get out and vote tomorrow, it's not only your right, it's your responsibility.
