Wow, i admire that spirit, even if you tend to play fast and loose with the facts from time to time. The greedy 1% pay a huge percent of the tax burden and the top 10% basically pay over 90%. The people on the bottom pay nothing or next to nothing. They want tax breaks for taxes they dont pay. The numbers are available, i havent seen them in a bit but im sure very little has changed. People dont understand that if you pay someone 15 dollars that cant get a food order right when you order two things, all that will do is get several people fired. Either that or raise the prices on everything and kill the business. The people that love a 15 dollar minimum wage or those that work themselves for 20 to 30 dollars an hour. It gives them a reason to ask for a raise also. When they approach and say, "You are paying these idiots 15 dollars an hour than we deserve 40." If 15 dollars an hour is so great why not make the new minimum wage 20 or even 30 WTH. Class envy is such an ugly ugly thing, and yes i do understand the pandering. IMO people that pay little or no taxes should not even be allowed to vote on how much the people that actually do the paying need to pay. New York is finding out when you try to gouge the Golden Goose, the Golden Goose will just move to Florida. One thing i wont do, at least not until i have a bad checkout experience is use the self scanning lanes in a store. My best friend who was a big union man with CWA kept using self scan when i visited in January, and i told him how he was hurting da little man and propping up big business. It wasnt enough that he passed the Mom and Pop store and a chance to pay double on things, he had to check himself out too. Lets face it, come election time, whats smarter, pandering to the 1% or telling everyone else they are not in better shape because of the 1% and then pandering to them??
