What was the deal today with the bus mess? I don't think the snow even started until around 2. But on Facebook groups they were talking about an early dismissal and it sent parents scrambling.
So I call the school and there was no early dismissal, as there shouldn't have been. Then I get home from work and find out that some of the buses were loaded early and the buses were dropping kids off ahead of their scheduled times.
20 minutes or so ahead of schedule is a long time to be dropping kids off without a notice to the parents! Why would they load these buses so early, but more than that, why would they drop kids at their stops or to their homes 20 minutes early without a warning? Some parents were not home yet, some parents were not at the bus stops. Stupid and careless call on someone's part!
