I have been listening to sports talk radio and even the local homers dont have much sympathy for the Mizzou football team or its fans. They dont suck like Illinois, but they are really nothing special either. Lock will be a next level quarter back and they have some other skill on that offense, but against the real top teams the defense got thumped. Mizzou is not known for being a good road team, the fans dont travel all that well, which is a factor to some degree at least on who gets what bowls. They lost two games they should have won, and had they won even one of them, they would have got a better bowl offer. That Kentucky game was just brutal. Last year Texas buried them in the bowl and this team would be wise not to look past Oklahoma State. If any fan base has a right to be mad, it would probably be Georgia, or even Ohio State. Both these teams are better than Oklahoma or Notre Dame, but sometimes other factors figure into the voting. Georgia lost two games, that did them in. I see Alabama destroying Oklahoma, and Clemson at least covering against Notre Dame. Then in the final Alabama wining it all by 10 points. Not going out on a limb exactly, i know. If i wanted to make a bold pick id say the Blues will beat Edmonton tomorrow, never mind, scratch that.
