This is being talked about all over social media. It sounds as if the GCPD made short work of getting all over this.

"On 11/26/2018, at approximately 5:52 PM, the Granite City Police Department was notified that threats were being made toward students at the Granite City High School via social media. Once notified of these threats, the Granite City Police Department quickly initiated an investigation into this matter. The Granite City Police Department assisted by the Granite City School District #9, along with the community were able to gather information during the investigation that led to a person of interest being taken into custody at approximately 7:40 PM. This individual will remain in custody at the Granite City Police Department, until the facts and circumstances of this investigation are presented the Madison County State’s Attorney’s Office in the afternoon hours of 11/27/2018. The Granite City Police Department will have no further comment until such time."
