Sometimes the team that wins the Worlds Series is not really the best team, but that is not the case for this years Boston Red Sox. If not for Ian Kinslers wild throw in game three Boston most likely would have swept the Dodgers. As good as the Red Sox are, if they pick up a second baseman who can hit to platoon with Holt they may well be even better next year. Maybe the bullpen could use a little tweaking also, but the team is loaded. Machado did little to up the price for his services and in fact may have cost himself money with his nonchalant attitude. Some teams will still go after him while others probably will not want to pay 300 plus million dollars to a player who thinks hes too good to play hard. I think he will wind up in Philly.
